After a thoroughly enjoyable season the club had its last meeting on May 25th,
1928
and decided to disband, at least, for the Summer months, with the possibility of
starting afresh in the Fall.
The thing about this club that pleased "Ye Editor" was the fact that
as no refreshments
were to be served. The hostess could greet her guests without being tired out in
preparing for them and could sit down and devote the afternoon just to the
pleasure
of playing the game and have no serving and clean-up to do afterward.
It is to be hoped that with the advent of cooler weather the "Club" will be revived.
