John W Vaden married Harriet P Wales on May 8, 1849 (http://www.rootsweb.com/~vadinwid/marriage/groom-s.htm). Is Harriet P the Parthenia in the 1860 census? Why is the wife not listed on the 1850 census since marriage occurred in 1849.
