William Allan USHER m. Leona FARTHING of Mayfield, Kentucky and they had two daughters. One was Nelle USHER, who was born November 22, 1889 in Mayfield, Kentucky.
Leona FARTHING was the daughter of Coleman FARTHING and his second wife Damarias Ann SLAYDEN. They were married in Pottsville, Graves County, Kentucky and he died sometime after his 100th birthday in Mayfield, Kentucky (most of the information is contained in the announcement for Coleman's 100th birthday party in 1918).
Since I have no dates for William Allan USHER or his wife, I can only go by his father-in-law's birthdate of 1818 and his daughter's birthdate of 1889 and know he's somewhere in between.

Obituary: Former Phoenix Cardinals wide receiver and kick returner Darryl
Usher, 25, and a 24-year-old woman were shot to
death at his Phoenix apartment. Police believe a man shot
Usher and the woman, identified as Chiquita Burt, before turning the gun
on himself. The unidentified man, believed to be a former boyfriend of Burt, was
hospitalized in very critical condition.Usher, the New England Patriots' seventh-round
draft choice in
1988 out of Illinois, was signed as a free agent by Phoenix in November after
being released by the San Diego Chargers. He played in three games for the
Cardinals and was released Feb. 1.
William A. Usher
who died Oct 31st, 1906, was about 40 years old at that time. He was born in
Owensboro, KY. , later moving with his parents to Evansville, Indiana. When he
had attained his majority, he went to Cincinnati, Ohio, where he became involved
in the whiskey business. In 1892, he came to Bristol, Tenn-Va. and opened The
Phoenix Saloon on Front St. About 1900, his business failed due to his declining
health, and after that time he worked as a Bartender at various saloons around
the City. When he died he was staying at the Arlington Hotel, Henry Burke being
the Proprietor and a good friend of Usher's. Usher is survived by a sister, Mrs.
A.H. Alexander of Owensboro, KY.
