Isabelle Dahlquist formerly of Mount Prospect
Graveside services for Isabelle Dahlquist, 89, of Mason City, Iowa, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the North Montrose Cemetery, 5400 N. Pulaski, Chicago.
Born Dec. 23, 1910, in Mulberry, Kan., the daughter of Joseph and Mary (nee Moore) Usher, she died Sunday, June 11, 2000, in Mason City, Iowa.
She attended school in Arma, Kan. and after graduation from high school, the family moved to Chicago. Isabelle was married to Edward Dahlquist and was blessed with over 50 years of marriage. She moved to Mason City five years ago to be near her family. She sewed for the family and was a good cook who also enjoyed gardening and traveling.
She is survived by her sons, Robert (Gail) Dahlquist of Mason City and Eugene (Toni) Dahlquist of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren, David Dahlquist of Eldridge, Iowa, Jeff Dahlquist of Mason City, Lori (fiance Sean Regen) Dahlquist of Boston, Mass., Staci Dahlquist of San Pedro, Calif. and Bret Dahlquist of San Pedro; great- granddaughter, Mckenna Dahlquist; nieces, Janice Howell and Carolanne Fasno; and daughter-in-law, Bobbi Lisk of San Pedro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, in 1985; son, Jerry, in 1940; and brothers, Robert, Charles and Joseph.
Arrangements were made by Major Erickson Funeral Home, Mason City, Iowa.
