A LUNATIC AT LARGE - Thomas Usher, a lunatic, was apprehended by Sergeant Shimmin on Tuesday night near Port St Mary, he having escaped from the Lunatic Asylum that day.Sergeant Shimmin brought him to Castletown the next morning. Inforation of the capture was sent to Dr Wood, and an attendant arrived in Castletown in the afternoon to conduct the unfortunate man back to the Asylum.
