Thomas died at 10:05am. His son Harry was the informant but mistook his father's grandmother for his father's mother - naming Isabella Pot on the form instead of Jane Usher!

Thomas married Gertrude USHER, daughter of Thomas USHER and Eliza Caroline HENDERSON, on 24 Jul 1878 in Edinburgh, Scotland.1 2 (Gertrude USHER was born on 5 Jan 1855 in 3 George Square, Edinburgh 9 and died on 8 Jun 1910 at Courthill, Hawick, Roxburgh 10.) The cause of her death was Heart Failure.
