Noted events in his life were:
• Namechange: 25 May 1734. 2 Took the surname of Saint-George in lieu of that of Usher.
In his marriage settlement he is called "Usher St. George." V.G. He is also so called in the report of a committee of the House of Commons [I.], on a petition submitted by him and others, which report was read 4 Feb. 1757/8. Certain lands in that part of Galway called Ire-Connaught had been purchased under a decree of the High Court of Chancery, 1731, in trust for the 1st Baron for £6,650 sterling, and had been devised by him to "Usher St. George," his grandson and heir at law.
St. married Elizabeth DOMINICK, daughter of Christopher DOMINICK and Rebecca HAMILTON, on 18 Jul 1752.1 2 (Elizabeth DOMINICK was born circa 1733 and died on 26 Feb 1813 in , Dublin, Dublin, Ireland 2.)
