Cherie wrote : this is what I have now:
"Mauritz Wilhelm Ferdinand Cornelius von Pelden gnt Cloudt, born on June 21, 1786, married Elisa Usher in Ireland in 1810 (sic).*
This family (Usher) supposedly came from England. It has, however, been settled in Ireland a very long time and is very wealthy. This family practiced the Protestant faith.
*"The record book of St. Carthage Cathedral, Lismore, County Waterford, Ireland contains a record of the marriage of Eliza Ussher and Maurice de Cloudt, who were married April 16, 1811. The same church has a baptismal record of Eliza Ussher, daughter of Arthur and Margaret (born Hewetson) Ussher who was baptized July 12, 1791.
