Places

Birr Castle

I am not aware of any Usher connection with the castle but I thought it a nice historical related place to add. http://www.birrcastle.com

Birr Church

Gwen tells me that Birr Church shown here is opposite the entrance to the above Birr castle.

James Cambell Usher son of Noble Luke Usher

I'm in the process of trying to confirm the handwritten notes of an Elizabeth Georgina Usher who died in the 1920's.

Her father was JAMES CAMPBELL USHER.(my gg grandfather)...rector of Grace Church, Brantford Ontario Canada 1837-1872. St. James Anglican Church, also in Brantford was named in his honour.

The notes list James Campbell's parents as Noble Luke and Harriette.

I am hoping that someone can help me in confirming my research.
Thanks for your interest and let me know if I can provide further information....
I have extensive details from 1837 on for James Campbell's line for anyone interested.
