Edmund Stuckey Family History

Edmund Stuckey Sr. was born in York Co., Virginia in November of 1747. He was a Planter and Farmer and Married Nancy Elizabeth Howell in 1769 in Isle of Wight Co., Va.; again to Edith Howell in 1781 and later to Rebecca McCathern sometime after 1802. Edmund was father to 110 grandchildren, and over 80 great-grandchildren before he died in Sumpter Co., South Carolina in 1831.

Two other Stuckeys of Wilkinson County were descended from Edmund Sr., and the links to them are still being studied. One is my Great Great Grandfather, Jackson Stuckey b. 1817 in Wilkinson Co., Ga. and the other is Starling Stuckey b. ABT 1793 or 1795 in N.C.
