Dedication For Remodeled Richmond Church Sunday

     Dedication services for the new annex and remodeled Richmond Baptist Church will be held Sunday.
     The entire building has been brick veneered and centrally air conditioned and heated.  Six new Sunday School rooms, pastor's study, kitchen, a carpeted foyer, and two restrooms have been added.
     The building committee was Eugene McDaniel, chairman, Willie Schumpert and Doug Bradley, Houston Moore was the building contractor.
     This Church was organized in 1845 and is believed to be one of the oldest in this area.  The first known pastor was a Rev. Black.  The present pastor is Rev. Marvin Murphy.
     Three young ministers originally from this church have been invited to speak at teh 11:00 o'clock hour.
     They are Rev. Bob Posey, full-time evangelist of Birmingham, Ala., the Rev. Doug Westmoreland, pastor of Liberty Grove Baptist Church, Jackson, Tenn., and the Rev. Price Harris, minister of music, Calvary Baptist Church, Shreveport, La.
     An old fashioned "dinner on the ground" will be spread at noon.
     A dedication service is plannedat 2:00 p.m. when former pastors and the Lee County missionary will speak.  Special music will be the Richmond ladies quartet and the junior girl's trio.
     Open house is planned from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.  Everyone is invited.
