I would like to know how you arrived at Joshua Proctor via Newton McClusky Proctor and his father JAMES NEWTON PROCTOR. NSDAR just approved our McClusky line to Joseph McCluskey(McCleskey) 1756-1781 m. Mary Green via their daughter, Elizabeth(b 21 Se3pt 1789 in SC) who married James Newton Proctor(?-1815) and produced Newton McClusky Proctor, father of William James Proctor.

There were Proctors in the Natchitoches Parish area of LA when the Law's were there (1840-1870).
