     John was born on 6 August 1811 in Newberry Co., South Carolina. He was the son of Benjamin (Sr) Butler and Elizabeth Reese. He married Mary Woods in Newberry County, South Carolina, on 29 January 1829. He married Elender Ann Farmer in Irmo, Lexington District, South Carolina, on 2 November 1854. John died on 6 June 1896 in Lexington, Lexington county, South Carolina, at age 84.

     John was born on 24 March 1830. He was the son of Rhesa Butler and Elizabeth Dalrymple. He married Nancy Harriett Peterson on 4 March 1858.

     Her body was interred in Good Hope, Edgefield county, South Carolina. She married Euley Samuel Walton. Josephine was born on 28 July 1877 in South Carolina. She was the daughter of Bluford Rayford Butler and Malinda Catherine Davenport. Josephine died in 1965.

     Lawrence was born in 1871 in South Carolina. He was the son of Newton Frederick Butler and Mary V Watts.

     She married William Mays. Lewry was born on 6 December 1832 in Newberry Co., South Carolina. She was the daughter of Daniel Butler and Amelia Childers.

     Lois was born on 3 March 1920 in Good Hope, Edgefield county, South Carolina. She is the daughter of James Oscar Butler and Maude Leeze Burnett. She married James Robert Herlong on 17 May 1941.

     Lula was born in 1869 in South Carolina. She was the daughter of Newton Frederick Butler and Mary V Watts.

     Her body was interred in Webb, Talahatchie county, Mississippi. She married George Pinkney Leopard. Margaret was born on 8 October 1873. She was the daughter of Bluford Rayford Butler and Malinda Catherine Davenport. Margaret died on 26 January 1950 at age 76.

     She married Charles Simpson Butler. Martha was born on 1 April 1869 in South Carolina. She was the daughter of James Pinkney Butler and Rody Susan Waites.

     She married Sumpter David Adams. Martha was born on 27 September 1876 in Saluda county, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Bluford Rayford Butler and Malinda Catherine Davenport. Martha died on 16 May 1909 in Saluda, South Carolina, at age 32.

     Martin was born in 1822. He was the son of Henry Butler and Hester "Hetty" Butler.

     He married Letitia Maxwell. Martin was born in 1838. He was the son of John Davis Butler and Mary Woods.

     Mary was born in 1877 in South Carolina. She was the daughter of Newton Frederick Butler and Mary V Watts.

     Mary was born on 12 July 1823. She was the daughter of Rhesa Butler and Elizabeth Dalrymple.

     She married Loderick Manning. Mary was born in 1844. She was the daughter of John Davis Butler and Mary Woods.

     Maude was born on 13 December 1913 in Saluda, South Carolina. She was the daughter of James Oscar Butler and Maude Leeze Burnett. She married Luke Smith White on 5 January 1935.
