In addition in the same household are found 2 daughters of V.M.,Nettie 13 yrs old and Elodie 15 years old. Also listed is a brother W.W.McMurtry shown as 28 years old and single. Also living in the household is a 17 year old female V.R.Castleman who will later marry James Patrick H. Unger. The other person listed is a J.W.Moore, male 54 years old. The census shows he was a neice but this cannot be correct. A good guess is that V.M.Burton was his neice. His occupation is listed as a mechanic being born in New York. V.M. states that her father was born in Virginia while her brother states that his father was born in Kentucky, leading to the conclusion that they had the same mother but different fathers since both state their mother was born in Mississippi.
