     Eleanor was born on 22 June 1827 in South Carolina. She was the daughter of John S. Savage and Ann H. Gillespie. She married Joseph Washington Atkins in Louisville, Winston county, Mississippi, on 20 October 1841. Eleanor died on 7 October 1895 in Shreveport, Bossier parrish, Louisiana, at age 68. Her body was interred in Lone Pine, Madison county, Mississippi.

     Elizabeth was born on 18 May 1917 in McAllen, Hidalgo county, Texas. She was the daughter of Robert Lee Savage and Mary Josephine Cox. She married Benjamin John Hirsch, son of George Hirsch and Margart Neidecker. She died on 8 July 1993 in Alamo, Hidalgo county, Texas, at age 76. She was buried in Alamo, Hidalgo county, Texas...Francis body is intered in Saint Joseph cemetery..

     Ellen was born on 31 May 1892. She was the daughter of James Walter Savage and Margaret Closner. Ellen died on 15 July 1948 at age 56.

     Emma was born on 22 July 1881. She was the daughter of John Fredric Savage and Charlotte Angeline Bufkin. She married Will Wells. Emma died on 28 July 1931 at age 50.

     Enoch was born on 12 September 1879 in Mississippi. He was the son of Fletcher Anderson Savage and Margaret Ann Chandler. He married Annie Alice Gray on 27 April 1913. ..Annie had two children by her marriage to Robert Greer Watt...daughter Annie Watt married Raymond Johnsey.. Enoch died on 16 August 1940 at age 60. His body was interred in Sessums, Oktibbeha county, Mississippi.
     Uncle Marvin ran a motor-patrol (a road grader) for the county. Back then it was pulled behind a tractor. This was a piece of equipment to keep the roads leveled out and the ruts and holes filled-in. The only memories I have of Uncle Marvin is that because he was so large he had two cane bottomed chairs tied together to sit in on the front porch of their home in Artesia.
