Drumconnor as it is now spelt, is a bubble of land situated between the Parishes of Desertcreat & Donaghmore and for some reason included in the Parish of Pomeroy. It is on the left-hand side of the A29 south of Lammy and the B160. It is about 4 miles north of Dungannon and about 6 miles south of Cookstown. Drumconnor was in the Parish of Desertcreat when the Tithe was done and must have been re-aligned and placed into the Parish of Pomeroy probably when the Ordnance Survey was done c.1840. |
