Pulling the flax.

This photograph shows Joseph Starrs, born Omagh, County Tyrone 1889, with his brother in law Frank Mullen, pulling the flax. Two of Joseph's children are in the picture, Rosanna Starrs, b 1926 and John b around 1832. The lady behind the children is Joseph's aunt Rosanna Starrs, b 1874 in Omagh County Tyrone. The photograph was taken in 1934 where Joseph and his family lived - Tullycunny townland, Drumragh parish.
