EMIGRANTS.

The Irish settlers who were sent out last summer by the Government are doing well. Upwards of 2000 of them are settled in the neighbourhood of Mokio Lake, the most fertile part of that province, and have from two to ten acres of land each family, cleared and fenced ready to receive the seed in the spring. They are perfectly contented, and promise to make excellent settlers. There cannot be a finer country for industrious agricultural labourers and mechanics of certain trades, such as carpenters, shoemakers, lacksmiths, and millwrights.
