My Tyner Connection

Here’s my Tyner tree as far as I have been able to reconstruct it. Mary Pauline Tyner was my mother and I can remember visiting my grandfather, Frank, on his farm just a mile west of Westport, Indiana.

Isaac J Tyner
bd. 1825
dd. 1902
|	Frank Soloman Tyner
| bd. 1869
| dd. 1951, Fort Wayne, Indiana
|	|	Mary Pauline Tyner
|	| bd. 3 Jan 1894, Columbus, Indiana
|	| dd. 10 Sep 1967, Miami, Florida
|	|	Claude Tyner
|	| bd. 17 Dec 1889
|	| dd. 8 Dec 1945
|	Cora Tyner
| dd. 6 May 1938
| brd. Westport, Indiana

So far, I have been unable to find any connection beyond my great grandfather, Issac. I reckon that’s the bad news. On the other hand, I can trace back over 175 years in just three hops.

If Isaac were born in 1825, other information points to 1829, then his father was probably born prior to 1810. Since census data indicates that Isaac was born in Indiana, I assume that his father was the immigrant to Indiana. Unfortunately, I what no clue as to where that would be.

This is a picture of Frank Solomon Tyner, my grandfather, with his second wife Iva Merryman taken about 1947 at 526 W Rudisill Blvd in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
