Ward Erwin Tyler Jr. (1932-1989)

Ward Erwin Tyler Jr. was born May 13, 1932 in Stockton, CA, and died November 05, 1989 in Stockton, CA.  He married Karen Joyce Spaeth on October 04, 1952 in Spokane, WA. She was born December 03, 1931 in Spokane, WA.

My Dad grew up in Stockton, CA and graduated from Stockton High School in 1950.  He enlisted in the USAF in 1951 and went to Basic Training at Sheppard AFB, TX and  Technical Training at Keesler AFB to become an airborne radar technician for the B-36.  He was stationed at Fairchild AFB, WA where he met my mother.  The picture on the top right is my Dad and Mom about the time they were married in Oct. 1952.  After my Dad left the USAF in 1955, he went back to Stockton, CA and worked at his Dad's sporting goods store.  Dad eventually left working for his father and went into sporting goods sales as a manufacturing representative.  He continued in that line of business until he retired because of health problems in 1989.
