TxLa© Family Photographs
I will refer to
photographs as Great (g) or Great Great (gg)
Grandparents, etc for my family's benefit.
It is however, their relationship to me, so consider that
please.
Look for the colored boxes to match up parents with
children :)

pic of it, will take time to open, file size is 267kb
If the pic on the next page looks small, hold your cursor
in lower right hand corner and click on the middle
button, that will show the actual size of the photograph.
I thought that it was interesting and wanted to include
it so that ya'll would see the construction of their day.
I hope you enjoy it, but as always I hold the Original

alter my Photograph in any way!
They were still

hand pump sitting on the porch.

1930 Cedar Hill, TN-who was first a County Judge
then a magistrate for over 50 years in the Logan
Co, KY-Robertson Co, TN area who was a son of
Carpenter HARDING b abt.
1813 OH d aft 1887 was a Colonel of a regiment in
the Mexican war and served with the 22nd Indiana
Volunteers in Civil War. He was a son of
Stephen HARDING from the
lineage of John Harding who immigrated from
England. Stephen information and back was
obtained from the "Hardings in America"
book by Wilbur Harding, who was also a descendant
of John from England. (see Home for more
on that lineage)
My Grandfather - John Maurice
HARDING
is the one who started me on this Genealogical Quest. He
had a very strong desire for me to know "his
people" & share what information I
could find in the future with our wee ones whom I like to
call the "little people" or the generations to
come. He knew he was getting older, and although he was a
mere 69 yrs young in 1980, he had led a very interesting
yet hard life. And I can say that I've yet to meet a
nicer, gentler man. No offense to my father ;) click here

To me, Aunt
B has always been the smartest. She is still of
very sound mind and a wonderful lady that raised
3 Great kids. Her husband Rusty HYDE died in the
early 1990's. |

She takes after the BUCHANAN side of the family

The
above photo: When I recently went to
visit Mom & Dad, they shared photo's
with me. This is a Negative! I decided to
try scanning it, but it didn't turn out,
so I placed a white piece of paper over
it, scanned it & saved the file.
Next, I used a feature called Negative
(it allows you to change a photo from
normal to a negative), and this was the
result.
The negative is so scratched and old, I
didn't think that this would work, but it
did & so now you can see the photo of
my Mom posing! ;) hehehe |

Note
about next set of Photo's: I naturally have more recent
photo's if I get their ok, I'll put those up in lieu of
these. I have a beautiful one of Mom and Dad
at his parents house John & Living Mills house. :)
