Someone who would tend our hearts and mend our dreams; Someone who would
give without asking in return; Someone who would love without judgement and
believe, regardless of the circumstances; God did not create us to laugh or cry
alone..That's why He made Friends.

Her goal in life was to help everyone be happier and better people. Lucille and
Clarence shared a richly rewarding life for nearly 69 years. She always anticipated
and put others' needs first and never said an unkind word about anyone. She
dearly loved her husband and children. She thoroughly enjoyed the antics of her
grand-and great-grandchildren and was proud of how all her family grew in grace.
Lucille always saw the good in everyone and kept her light heart and charm
through rough financial times, miscarriages, early deaths of a brother and a sister,
in raising her children and in taking in boarding relatives for long periods of time.
Lucille was a real lady, always glad to see everyone, setting a generous table for
visiting family, neighbors or friends day and night. She was a very hard worker, a
determined woman with an unflagging spirit, giving everything in her for her family,
church and friends without complaint. She was equally at home changing diapers,
nailing siding on a dream home or kneeling with family to say her daily Rosary.
Through her deep Catholic faith she trusted completely in God and remained
steadfast to Him to the end. Mom was dearly loved by all and had her most fun
playing the family piano or organ surrounded by family singers, playing Bridge or
Sheephead, cooking or doing dishes while conversing with friends, going out to
eat and doing things with her neighborhood women's group or spending time in
church service groups. We love her and will miss the sparkle in her eye, her many
kindnesses and her undivided attention that made each one in her life feel like the
most important person in the world when we were with her.

Lucille A. Tomashek, 90, De Pere, passed away on Feb. 20,
2000.
The former Lucille Achten was born on July 26, 1909, in
Shawano, to the late Frank and Mary (Biebelhausen) Achten. She
attended Shawano High School. Lucille married Clarence
Tomashek on Aug. 27, 1934, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in
Shawano. Lucille died of cancer after a six month period of
declining health.
Her goal in life was to help everyone be happier and better
people. Lucille and Clarence shared a richly rewarding life for
nearly 69 years. She always anticipated and put others needs first
and never said an unkind word about anyone. She dearly loved
her husband and children. She thoroughly enjoyed the antics of her
grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was proud of how all
her family grew in grace. Lucille always saw the good in everyone
and kept her light heart and charm through rough financial times,
miscarriages, early deaths of a brother and a sister, raising her
children and taking in boarding relatives for long periods of time.
Lucille was a real lady, always glad to see everyone, setting a
generous table for visiting family, neighbors or friends day and
night. She was a very hard worker, a determined woman with an
unflagging spirit, giving everything in her for her family, church and
friends without complaint. She was equally at home changing
diapers, nailing siding on a dream home or kneeling with family to
say her daily Rosary. Through her deep Catholic faith she trusted
completely in God and remained steadfast to Him to the end.
Mom was dearly loved by all and had her most fun playing the
family piano or organ surrounded by family singers, playing bridge
or sheephead, cooking or doing dishes while conversing with
friends, going out to eat and doing things with her neighborhood
women’s group or spending time in church service groups. We
love her and will miss the sparkle in her eye, her many kindnesses
and her undivided attention that made each one in her life feel like
the most important person in the world when we were with her.
Lucille is survived by: her husband, Clarence; two sons, Chuck
(Holly) Tomashek, Joliet, Ill., and Don (Diann) Tomashek, De
Pere; one daughter, Jeanne Pischke, De Pere; grandchildren, Amy
