Harold O. '' Hank'' Henry, 68, of South Reidsburg Road, Sligo (Tin Town,) died Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999, at his residence. Born Nov. 27, 1930, at Scotch Hill, he was a son of the late Blair Harold Henry and Alva Mabel (CRAFT) Henry of Jefferson Manor in Brookville, who survives. He was married to Susan Blanche (GLEGHORN) Henry, who survives. Mr. Henry was a retired diesel mechanic for Shaw Mack. He also worked for Lawrence Brothers Concrete in Clarion. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War. In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by two sons, Warren and wife Martha Henry of Tylersburg and Hugh '' Hooper'' and wife Lori Henry of Sligo; two daughters, Holly Henry of Clarion and Mrs. Roy (Deanna) ZEIGLER of Sligo; a brother, Blaine Henry of Scotch Hill; a sister Elsie FRYE of Scotch Hill; and six grandchildren, Blair and Ruth Henry, Elya and Gerrett Henry and Ricki and Rebecca Zeigler. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Henry; and twin grandsons. Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Goble Funeral Home, Clarion. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. Sun day at the funeral home with the Rev. Gerald Davis and the Rev. Bob Moore co-officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedarview Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Clarion/Forest VNA or the Leatherwood Presbyterian Church.

Richard W. Bair, 74, of 405 Elm St., Tionesta, died at 4 a.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, in his residence following a sudden illness. Born Jan. 29, 1925, in Kew Gardens, Long Island, N.Y., he was a son of Richard M. and Edna R. KING Bair. Mr. Bair graduated in 1943 from Rocky Grove High School and enlisted in the Army, serving as a machine gunner with the 89th Infantry Division in the European Theater of Operations during World War II. He remained on active duty until 1946. Mr. Bair then served as a trooper with the Pennsylvania State Police from 1946 until 1951. He later was employed with the Erie Railroad/Chicago Bridge and Iron from 1951 through 1956. Mr. Bair then returned to active military service with the Army, re tiring as a chief warrant officer 2 in May 1973. During his more than 20 years of active service, Mr. Bair per formed various duties while stationed in the United States, Europe and Asia. After military retirement, he worked for Quaker State Oil Co. from 1974 until 1986. He was married Aug. 6, 1950, to Helen L. HART of Tionesta, who survives. Mr. Bair's hobbies included hunting, fishing, painting and reading. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Tionesta. He also was a member of the Olive Lodge No. 557 F&AM of Tionesta and the Valley of Coudersport. In addition to his wife, Mr. Bair is survived by a son and daughter in-law, Lt. Col. Wayne P. and Kimberly Bair of Richmond Hill, Ga.; a daughter, Rachel F. Bair of Oil City; two grandsons, Cody T. and Tyler N. Bair of Richmond Hill, Ga.; one sister, Lucille B. HOOVER of Florida; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bair was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David S. Bair. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at the First Presbyterian Church in Tionesta. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 4 in the church with the Rev. Craig Cashdollar, pastor of the church, officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Clarion-Forest Visiting Nurses Association, P.O. Box 668, Knox, 16232. Arrangements are in charge of the Osenider Funeral Home, Oil City.

Luella F. McConaughey, 95, formerly of 1220 Chestnut St., Franklin, died at 7:45 p.m. Thurs- day, Nov. 25, 1999, at Sugarcreek Station. Born August 14, 1904, in Rockland Township, Venango County, she was a daughter of the late Emerson FELT and Mary BORLAND. On Dec. 30, 1922, she married Frank B. KENDRICK, who died in 1973. On June 25, 1948, she married Wade McConaughey, who preceded her in death in 1978. Mrs. McConaughey is survived by two sons, Frank B. Kendrick and wife Mary Ann of Franklin and Byron E. Kendrick and wife Anne of Franklin; five grandchildren, Byron E. Kendrick Jr. and wife Sandra of Franklin, Diane Kendrick of Dubois, Mrs. Richard (Linda) PRIVETTE of Charlotte, N.C., Mrs. Neil (Susan E.) FREDERICK of Reading and Mrs. Michael (Janet L.) ADAMCZYK of Franklin; and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her first and second husbands, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles E. and Rush W. Felt; and a sister, Anna Gertrude CATHER. The Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held at the Rockland Cemetery with the Rev. William Chittester of First United Methodist Church in Franklin officiating. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County.

Pauline F. Mitchell, 93, formerly of 1220 Chestnut St., Franklin, died at 1:28 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, at The Caring Place in Franklin. Born Feb. 19, 1906, in Franklin, she was a daughter of Albert A. and Pearl M. SHOWERS ANDERSON. She was a 1924 graduate of Franklin High School. For three years following high school, she was employed at Eclipse Atlantic Refining. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, the Friendship Circle Sunday School Class and the Missionary Circle. She enjoyed reading and puzzles. On Feb. 14, 1929, she married Harold G. Mitchell. The Mitchells lived in Philadelphia for almost 40 years before returning to Franklin. Mr. Mitchell died Feb. 20, 1982. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by a sister, Mrs. Grover (Helen) SCHARVOGEL of Rochester, N.Y.; and a nephew, James A. JOLLEY of Park Ridge, Ill. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma W. Anderson. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Huff Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. David A Holste, pastor of Christ United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery

Rose Ann Stahl, 60, of Marianne Estates died at 9:12 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999, at her residence. Born Sept. 15, 1939, in Clarion, she was a daughter of Leroy E. and Florence RENNINGER LEWIS. She was married to John H. Stahl, who survives. Mrs. Stahl was retired form Owens-Illinois Plant in Clarion. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her father, Leroy Lewis of Clarion; two daughters, Roxanne CULP of Corsica, and Tammy Stahl of Florence, Ky.; a sister, Ann McCLEARY of Knox RD 1; five brothers, Leroy Lewis Jr. of Alabama, Jack Lewis of Clarion RD, William Lewis of Clarion, Wilbur Lewis of Knox RD and Robert Lewis of Knox. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Matthew Culp, Joshua Culp, Crystal STEELE, Guy Steele Jr. and Brock Steele; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Stahl was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers. There will be no visitation and funeral services will be private. Interment will be in the Knox Union Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Clarion-Forest Visiting Nurses Hospice, P.O. Box 668, Knox, 16232. The William N. Rupert Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.

Martha J. Bickel, 88, a former Oil City resident, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999.
