Margaret E. Booth Smith, 92, of South Sixth Avenue, Clarion, died at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, at her residence. Born Feb. 1, 1907, in West Virginia, she was a daughter of John and Mary BYRD THOMAS. She was a member of the Grandmother's Club. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a Protestant. She first was married Aug. 30, 1924, to Blaine Booth, who died July 2, 1960. She next was married Nov. 26, 1963, to Elmer Smith, who died June 27, 1975. Surviving are two daughters, Maxine BURFORD and Luella REYNOLDS, both of Clarion; five sons, Blaine Booth, John Booth and Robert Booth, all of Clarion, Newton Booth of Strattanville and Kenneth Booth of Boulder, Colo.; and 105 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She also is survived by five sisters, Peg ZAHR of New Brighton, Loreda McGUIRE of Clarion, Gen HILDEBRANT and Mary WOLFE, both of Brookville, and Olga REETH YEARNY of Youngstown, Ohio. In addition to her parents and two husbands, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary HURRELBRINK, May 12, 1987; three grandchildren, Dick Hurrelbrink, Shawn Booth and Danny Booth; four brothers, Freeman Thomas, Archie Thomas, Jesse Thomas and John Thomas Jr.; and three sisters, Dicie BROWN, Athlene BAIR and Juanita Bair. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. James Dietrich officiating. Interment will be in Strattanville Cemetery.

Mary E. Womeldorf, 66, of Cherryville, N.C., formerly of Harmony and a native of Clarion County, died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, in Lincoln Medical Center, Lincolnton, N.C., following a short illness. She and her husband moved to North Carolina four months ago. Born Oct. 22, 1932, in Toby Township, Clarion County, she was a daughter of Daniel G. and Mary C. GOODMAN BALLENTINE. Mrs. Womeldorf was a 1950 graduate of Sligo High School. She received a degree in licensed practical nursing from Butler County Community College and had been employed at the L.A.S./Passavant Retirement Center in Zelienople. She retired there May 8, 1999, after 30 years of service. Mrs. Womeldorf was of the Lutheran faith. She was married in Portersville July 25, 1964, to William A. Womeldorf Sr., who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Wilda REDINGER of Zelienople and Mrs. Kenneth (Leona) NOLAND of Renfrew; a son, William A. Womeldorf Jr. of Harmony; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She also is survived by three brothers, Joseph WALTERS of New Bethlehem, James Walters of Coraopolis and Lewis Walters of Sligo; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Womeldorf was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Rebecca Lynn ENGLERT, in November 1954; three brothers, Daniel Ballentine, Bruce Ballentine and Cleo Walters; and a sister, Mildred Womeldorf. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home, Rimersburg. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home with the Rev. Clarence Mayhle, pastor of the Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church, Rimersburg, officiating. Interment will follow in Squirrel Hill Cemetery, New Bethlehem RD.

Dominic Cloye Moser, infant son of David and Magdala MARE Moser of 5519 Wellesley Ave., Pittsburgh, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, in Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh. The father is a former Oil City resident. The 6-month-old child was born March 13, 1999, in Magee Women's Hospital, Pittsburgh. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are paternal grandparents, Cloye and Normajean Moser of Oil City; maternal grandmother, Ann Marie CICERONE of Philadelphia; maternal grandfather, Camille MARC of Port Au Prince, Haiti; paternal great-grandparents, John and Twila NASH of Wexford and Jerry and Dora INTERVAL of Franklin Park; and maternal great-grandmother, Emecia SERASIN of Philadelphia. Also surviving are a paternal aunt, Michelle Moser of Oil City; maternal aunts and uncles, Carla Marc, Darlene Marc, Ernst Marc and Camille Marc, all of Philadelphia; and numerous great-aunts and great-uncles. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Freyvogel Funeral Home, Center Avenue, Oakland. Interment will be in Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh. The family suggest memorials be made to Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh.
