Russell R. Vincent, 65, of Franklin RD 3, died at 8 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, 1999, in the emergency room at Northwest Medical Center in Franklin. Born May 15, 1934, in Cambridge Springs, he was the son of the late Ralph L. Vincent and Blanche D. AMES. On Aug. 27, 1954, he married Phyllis Irene FULLER, who survives. He was the owner/operator of Vincent Excavating and Gravel. Mr. Vincent retired from the Army Reserve after 37 years. He had achieved the rank of sergeant first class. He was a 1952 graduate of Cambridge Springs High School. He was a member of the Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department and a life member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting at his camp. In addition to his wife, Mr. Vincent is survived by two sons, R. Scott Vincent and his wife Robin of Franklin and John B. Vincent and his wife Lori of Franklin; a daughter, Janis R. FLICK and her fiance Chris Soper of Lebanon, Ohio; and six grandchildren, Blaine Vincent of Oil City, Renee Vincent of Franklin, Brad Vincent of Franklin, Marissa Vincent of Oil City, Dustin Vincent of Franklin and Morgan Vincent of Franklin. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. today at the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark McCalla, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Franklin, officiating. The family suggest memorial donations be made to the Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department or to the Visiting Nurses Association of Venango Count.

Sherri Boyer Monroe, 45, of Florida and formerly of Franklin, daughter of Gloria Viola and Frank G. RICK and the late Ray E. Boyer, died Sept. 20 in Belleview, Fla., following an extended illness.
