William Randolph WEAVER, 29 William Randolph "Randy" Weaver,
29,. of Clarion died at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 1997, in a logging
accident in Jefferson County.... Born December 21, 1967, he was the son of
Wayne Richard WEAVER of Pittsburgh and Patty (FRAMPTON) STRONG of New
Bethlehem. He married the former Lesha RICKARD on October 10, 1987. She
survives..... He owned and operated WEAVER logging of Clarion..... Mr.
WEAVER also was the original owner and operator of Rick's Off Road
Plus.... He attended Grace Community Church in Curlisville.... Mr. WEAVER
was a member of American Legion Post No. 66 of Clarion.... In addition to
his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Haley WEAVER, at home: his
parents; his stepfather, William STRONG of Marble HC 1: two aunts, Julia
HALL of New Bethlehem RR 3, and Ella ANDERSON of Baxter; and an uncle,
Arthur FRAMPTON of New Bethlehem RR 3. Mr. WEAVER was preceded in death by
a brother, Wayne Richard "Rick" WEAVER II, who was killed May
17, 1987, while serving aboard the USS Stark when it was attacked in the
Persian Gulf. A Clarion River bridge was named the Wayne WEAVER II
Memorial Bridge in his honor last Memorial Day. He was also preceded in
death by his maternal grandparents, Clark and Ethel FRAMPTON; his paternal
grandparents Wayne R. and Elizabeth WEAVER; and an uncle, Paul FRAMPTON.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 6, at the Robert V.
Burns Funeral Home in Clarion, Daniel GEORGE, lay pastor, officiated.
Interment was in Salem Cemetery in Frogtown. |
