page18 - THE DERRICK- Saturday, July 27, 1991- Deaths Albert A. FRANCISCO, 99, formerly of Turkey City, died at 5:45 pm Friday in the Allegheny Manor at Shippenville RD 1. Born January 28, 1892, in Turkey City, he was a son of the late William H. and Eliza-beth BERLIN Francisco. He married the former Minnie Berlin. She preceded him in death. He then married Margaret Helen LATSHAW, who died in 1980. Mr. Francisco was employed by the B&O Railroad for a number of years, Quaker State Refinery at Emlenton, and later by PennDOT. An avid gardener and fisherman, he was well known for his gardening and produce. In earlier years, he played the violin in a band at square dances. Mr. Francisco attended St.Mark United Church of Christ at Monroe. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Susan) BEST of St. Petersburg; a step-daughter, Mrs. Arlie (Mary) BUCK of Knox RD 3; two grandsons; and two step-grandsons. In addition to his wives and parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, Robert CRAIG; a brother, Clarence Francisco; and two sisters, Edith ECKELBARGER and Ida DELOE. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today in the William N. Rupert Mortuary at Knox. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Sunday in the funeral home. Rev. A. Roy Aaron, a Church of God minister, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mark Cemetery at Monroe. jmleavy@penn.com
