SHICK , 72, of Erie, died Friday, November 22, 1985, at the Millcreek Community Hospital at Erie. Born November 15, 1913, in Porter Township, Clarion County, she was a daughter of the late Homer and Bessie NULPH SHICK. A resident of the Erie area for 40 years, Miss SHICK was a member of the First Church of God of Erie. For 20 years she was a cook at Hewitt's Restaurant in Erie. She was then employed as a cook at the Lutheran Home, retiring in 1976 after nine years' employment. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. John (Martha) JONES of Natrona Heights, Mrs. Stanley (Letha) WISNIEWSKI of Erie and Mrs. Michael (Dorothy) ZEMBA of Ford City; three brothers, Joseph SHICK of Harborcreek Township (Erie), Arthur SHICK of Summerville and Home SHICK of New Bethlehem; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Friends were received at the Dusckas Funeral Home in Erie and later at the Charles D. Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. Funeral services were held at the Alcorn Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, with the Rev. Randy BARLETT, pastor of the Leatherwood Church, officiating. Interment was in the family plot of the Squirrel Hill Cemetery in Porter Township, Clarion County.
