PENCE, 93, of New Bethlehem RD 2 died Wednesday, July 24, 1985, at his home following a period of ill health........Born January 10, 1892, at New Bethlehem RD 2, he was a son of James M. and Emily REED PENCE.....He was married May 29, 1913, to the former Zelda GEORGE, who preceded him in death January 5, 1979.....Mr. PENCE was a farmer and retired from St. Charles Brickyard in 1945 after 35 years employment.....He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Maxine WYANT of Rimersburg RD2; a son Chester PENCE of New Bethlehem RD 3; a sister, Mrs. Grace BISH of Bellefonte: five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a great great grandchild.....In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son Robert PENCE, three brothers and a sister.....Friends were received at the Wayne E. McNAUGHTON Funeral Home in New Bethlehem where services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday July 27. Rev. Randy BARLETT pastor of the Leatherwood Church officiated......Interment was in the Squirrel Hill Cemetery, Porter Township, Clarion County.
