Newspaper Unknown JAMES SCOTT NULPH James Scott NULPH, 74, formerly of Climax and Knox area, died Friday, March 20, 1970 in Pennsylvania Soldiers and Sailors Home, Erie..........He was born July 27, 1896 in Climax, the son of Jacob A. and Mary WYANT NULPH...........Mr. NULPH was a member of the United Church of Christ of Knox. For the past three years he had been in the Pennsylvania Soldiers and Sailors Home of Erie. He was a veteran of World War I where he was wounded in action with the 145th Infantry, 37th Division..........He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Enos (Mildred) WYANT of Climax, and several nieces and nephews..........One brother and two sisters preceded him in death..........Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 23, in the McNAUGHTON Funeral Home, New Bethlehem, with the Rev. Glenn A. BALL, pastor of the Distant Church of God, officiating...........Interment was in the Squirrel Hill Cemetery, Porter Township, Clarion County.
