On the Document from the Dept. of Agriculture along with my grandmother
and her sister, is a child by the name of Theresa Jefferies 10 yrs.
going to Rev. James Aevde(last name is hard to read) Methodish Minister,
Brant Avenue, Brantford Ontario. Has no children, Child as servant and
companion
The Guardians of Middlesbrough Workhouse also originally proposed to send
the following 8 girls who, for reasons unknown (probably changed their
minds about emigrating, failed the medical or friends/family suddenly
appeared to claim them), were not emigrated to Canada
