The death occurred early yesterday morning of Mrs. Hiram Cole, aged 69 years. The deceased was formerly Miss Sarah Hearns, daughter of Thos. Hearns of Deseronto.
She had been a resident of this vicinity for a number of years, having lived with her husband who predeceased her two years ago, near the Lake Shore, before moving to this city.
She is survived by four children. Mrs. James Blanchard of Detroit; Mrs. James Dooling, Fred, of Washington, D. C.; John, of Detroit; and two brothers, John Hearns of Rochester, N. Y. and James of this city.
The funeral will be held this afternoon at three o'clock from the residence of her daughter, Mrs Dooling, 18 Gray St, to the Maple Leaf Cemetery. The service will be conducted by Mr. Wesley Gregg of the Latter-day Saints Church.
