Please note: This transcript does not state "Darius" Hearns. However, Darius’ second name was David and he used the name David extensively in his lifetime. Since the only David I am aware of during this time period is Darius, I am placing this transcript here.

The following transcriptions are taken from The Minutes of the Quarter Sessions of the Peace for the Midland District (Counties of Frontenac, Lennox & Addington, Hastings and Prince Edward) Volume 2 1832 to 1840 as they relate to the Hearns Family.

Court of the Quarter Sessions held at the township of Adolphustown on Thursday, January 30, 1834:

The sources used for the transcribed records of the following pages are microfilm #MS-694 and #MS-730, which may be found at the Archives of Ontario. Because the original records were hand written, mistakes in transcription are always possible. If in doubt, please check the microfilm. These are excerpts from the book transcribed and indexed by Linda Corupe, U.E.~page 72
