This website is dedicated to the
Turners from the Backbone Ridge area of Dickenson County, Virginia,
although the line goes back to the county of Patrick, Virginia, and
probably Ireland. Some of the information we have has not been definitely
confirmed, so we welcome corrections and additions (with sources).
