| The final homestead of the Andrew Jackson Turnbow family as it looked in this 1941 picture. This home located on the Lampassas River in Bell County, Texas was built in the 1860's. It was occupied by Turnbow decendants until 1946, when it was sold. In the 1960's it was torn down. (Picture donated by Mrs. Opal Barrington, Belton, Texas) | |
