Our trip has come to an end we are standing once again in the Caerwys town square. Loading luggage into the Gallagher’s luggage van, trying to make sure we get all our hugs in and thank you’s in to our hosts and to the wonderful generous, gracious, warm, friendly, fantastic people of Caerwys. At first it is the task at hand of storing our luggage and making sure we haven’t forgotten anything… Then it sinks in as we are leaving and heading home, and the trip of a lifetime is almost over. A few tears were shed, mixed feelings abound. Happy we came, sad we are going, so tired we are stumbling, but so happy to have been here and been able to take such a wonderful trip.
I am not sure if the town people of Caerwys realize how much this trip means to us, but we did try to express it, I hope they understand. Mayor Phillip you did a great job as host and tour guide. You went out of your way and made this the trip of a lifetime. Thank you.
George and Carol Gallagher, it would not have been the same trip with out you. We came as strangers we leave as friends. Thank you both for all you did, and all your work it was greatly appreciated. Please keep in touch. I won’t be making commentary during these last pictures I think you can read between the lines. |
