In the days of old these were arrow slits where the men would defend the place. Can you see trying to shoot a arrow out a small slit like that with that type of two foot recess in the walls? It would be hard.

Mezzaluna Restaurant

At the Mezzaluna Restaurant after we had eaten, but before we left for the Town Hall, We presented Mayor R. Phillip Parry who had planned our visit and our tours this week, with presents of thanks for all he personally has done for the Wynne-Genealogy Society.

This gift was a picture that Joyce Gail Stewart from Ohio had painted, printed and matted for him. The State Bird of Ohio is the Redbird.

This gift for Mayor Phill [as we call him] was also from Joyce Gail Stewart, it is the American Eagle to represent the United States. Both of these pictures were drawn, painted then printed and matted by Joyce Gail Stewart. Our WGS artist!
