Ok here is a few more glimpses of us as a group in front of the Bronfadog!

Notice Cada Grove taking a picture of the picture taker taking the picture?

And in the next one you will see that Amy Humphries is about to run, and Cada Grove swallowed a feather. =)

This garage is across from the side door of the Bronfadog. Noting that we met Mike and Fliss at the side door. The front door is actually behind where we are taking our picture in front of the Bronfadog. But it isn't used. Inside the house you will find their computer desk in the cove in front of the front door.

Again another piece of the garage across from the main house.

188bronfadog31600x450.jpg

This is the next building down from the Garage and before the stables.

189bronfadog32600x450.jpg

This is a piece of Mike Owen's wood art work, you will find several of these creatures around the property and in the house. Neat work!

190bronfadog33600x450.jpg

This is again after the Garage and before the Stables, across from the side of the main house door.

I have lined up the pictures like you are walking from the lane taking pictures from the left and then around the bottom then back up the right to the Dower House and Main House again.

191bronfadog34600x450.jpg

This is to the back of the Stable building. You can see where Mike has accumulated equipment to use on the property in their renovations.

192bronfadog35600x405.jpg

This is the Stable building, It is not being used as a stable it is being used as work shop and storage at this time. But very neat stone work isn't it?

195bronfadog38600x450.jpg

George Gallagher pointing out the Key stones in the doors and windows.

196bronfadog39600x399.jpg

I tried to bring this up close and sharp but even so, the key stone is a blur, there is carving of some kind, but it is so worn you can't tell what it is.

197bronfadog40600x450.jpg

This angle is from the other end of the Stable building looking back.

198bronfadog41600x400.jpg

Mike Owen's talking to Cada Grove, Linda Shabo and others about the property.

199bronfadog42600x450.jpg

Another picture of the end of the Stable building.

200bronfadog43600x450.jpg

This picture is from our bedroom upstairs at 6:30 am Monday right before I took a walk around taking our last pictures of the property.

201bronfadog44600x450.jpg

This is another of Mike's Wood artwork. Isn't it neat! You find them everywhere. It almost looks like it is glowing at that time of the morning!

202bronfadog45600x450.jpg

This is the building after the Stable, facing the front of the Bronfadog. I believe it is just a work storage building, but I truely didn't ask, speak up if you know something different that I didn't pick up and I will edit these comments or add to them.

203bronfadog46600x450.jpg

This is a view from the building facing the front of the Bronfadog, for a different perspective.

204bronfadog47600x450.jpg

This is from the front yard of the Bronfadog back down to the last building.

205bronfadog48600x450.jpg

This is a close up of the gate next to that building, it feeds into the pasture where the horse is.

206bronfadog49600x511.jpg

The horse is a Welsh Cob, I am told they are a smaller version of the Clidesdales, on a smaller scale but a work horse all the same. You see a lot of these around the farms in the area. Look at the feet, the bottoms of their legs are stockier than the horse we see in the states. Again this is at 6:30 am and didn't think to ask Mike the horse's name when I ran into him a bit later.

207bronfadog50600x450.jpg

This is coming up the side across from the Stable, notice the walls? I am told that the walls are property dividers, to mark land. The walls are not really used for irrigation measures etc. I am told, but just dividing up the pastures and farm land. You see these dividing walls everywhere, either out of stone or brush.

208bronfadog51600x450.jpg
209bronfadog52600x450.jpg 211bronfadog53600x400.jpg

This is the Dower House that sits next to the Bronfadog main house. Notice the outside staircase? I am told that during the time this building was built the staircases were on the outside so as not to take up the space inside the homes. You will see another stair case like this on the back side of the Main House as you go towards the gate with the sign on the drive.

212bronfadog54600x450.jpg

This is the front of the Dower House. You can see some of the supplies that were used in revamping the Dower house. Lots of work done and lots of work to do.

213bronfadog55600x399.jpg
214bronfadog56600x450.jpg

This is a closer view of the Dower house. See the new window frames, my understanding is that they were made with the same type of wood that was used in the original Dower house. See how thick the front door wall is? This is standard for their houses from that time.

215bronfadog57600x399.jpg
216bronfadog58600x399.jpg

This is of course the front of the Bronfadog, with Alice Neff and her friend making sure they have enough film in their cameras!

217bronfadog59600x450.jpg

Notice the wall now around the front yard of the Bronfadog? That is what we were against when we were taking our picture of the group.

218bronfadog60600x399.jpg

Left to right kind of, is Mary Alice Shaw, Debbie and Brian Hunter, Debbie's mom Alice Neff behind her towards the wall, Alice’s friend it was either Janet Hurzeler or Susan Frampton, I think this is Susan Frampton, I never did get it straight which gal was which, my bad, sorry Alice! Carol Gallagher, George's wife and tour guide extraordinaire has her back to the camera.

Another pic of the Dower House with the main house to the right.
