Sackett Family Trees 

The information in the trees below consist of all the 7,000+ individuals and text of Charles Weygant's 1907 book "The Sacketts of America" and research shared by many Sackett researchers. I have tried to give credit to all who have contributed. Only a small portion is the result of my own research.

The Sackett lines are:
  • Thomas Sackett (1530-1595/6), grandfather of:
  • Simon Sackett (1595-1632), colonist at Newtowne, MA.;
  • John Sackett, colonist in the New Haven Colony, Connecticut.
  • "Orphan" lines. We have no proven connection for these lines
    • Elijah Sackett (c1801-aft 1870) of Oneida Co., NY.
    • Our "Mystery Sacketts of Vermont."
      • Joseph Sackett of Addison Co., VT and St. Lawrence Co., NY [contains 633 individuals]
      • Reuben Sackett of Addison Co., VT. [contains 275 individuals]
    • Maria "Polly" Sacket (b. 1772), m. Eldad Skinner
    • Nathaniel Baldwin Sackett (1817-1886) of NY and MN
    • Orlin Sackett (1824-1905) of New York and Minnesota.[contains 658 individuals]
    • Oliver Sackett (1796-1870) of Chenango Co., NY; m. Esther Wing. [contains 146 individuals]
    • Samantha Sackett (c1794-1878) of NY and Ohio; m. (1) ??? Lovejoy; (2)Gideon Crofoot.[contains 248 individuals]
    • Thomas J. Sackett (c1800-c1859) of Yates Co., NY. [contains 206 individuals]
    • Other "orphan" lines will be posted as they are developed.
