John's father was Samuel Randolf ALLEN b. 28 Jun 1884 and d. 28 Jun 19___ in Honey Grove, TX. He is buried someplace in or near Honey Grove. John's mother was Lucy Emiline "Emma Lucy" POSTON b. 3 July 1884/85 d. 18 Sep 1959 in Electra, TX. She is buried in Electra, TX.

Samuel's father was Jim ALLEN and Nancy McNUTT. Nothing else is known at this time about this couple.

Lucy's father was Tom POSTON b. in Tennessee, m. Lucena HICKS abt. 1886. She was b. abt. 1854 in Kentucky (src: 1910 Jackson Co. Census).
