We begin with our earliest known Wiley's. We haven't learned who the father of Andrew was, but we know that his mothers name was "Sarah". Her maiden name unknown. She had the following children: Andrew Parker Wiley, Martin Thomas Wiley, Jabez Napoleon Wiley, and Frances L. Wiley.
The family was in the following counties in Tennessee: Bledsoe Co., Warren Co., and Coffee Co. Andrew died in Tarrant Co., TX.(Source: Joyce Stone)
Andrew Parker Wiley and Sarah A. Smith were parents to the following children: William Alexander Wiley, Isaac Houston Wiley, George Washington Wiley, James N. Wiley, and Mary Jane Wiley.
William Alexander b. 24 Feb 1857 d. 04 Feb 1925 in Kaufman Co., TX. William m. Frances Elizabeth Roach b. 14 May 1857 possibly in IL., d. 04 Nov 1941 in Kaufman Co., TX. Wm. and Frances are both buried at Campground Cemetery. It is unknown at this time where they were married. The family appears to have lived in Tennessee before coming to Texas. Known children of Wm. and Frances: (1.)Maud b. 16 Aug 1879 d. 10 Aug 1932 in Kaufman Co. and is buried at Campground Cemetery. Maud m. Leander Black b. 1874 in TN. d. 03 May 1932 in Kaufman Co. He is also buried at Campground Cemetery.(2.)Lula WILEY was b. 08 Jan 1892, according to the 1930 Kaufman Co. Census, in Tennessee, d. 15 Nov 1943 in Kaufman Co. She is buried at Campground Cemetery.
