Kathleen Virginia Argabright Stultz
September 26, 1919 to January 25, 2004 Published on 01/28/2004 Kathleen Virginia Argabright Stultz "Granny," of Roanoke, went to be with the
Lord on Sunday, January 25, 2004. She was born on September 26, 1919. She was a
loving mother of six living children and was a member of North Roanoke Baptist
Church. She was a devoted friend to all she met and she never judged. Through
all of her illnesses, her smile never left her face. Her door was always open to
everyone. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Thomas Benjamin
(Poopsie) Stultz, Sr.; an infant son, David Allen Stultz. She is survived by
children, Thomas B. Stultz, Jr. and wife, Carolyn, James Robert Stultz, Sr. and
wife, Jean, Connie S. Arnold, Brenda S. Wampler and husband, Bob, Eddie L.
Stultz and wife, Joanne, Johnny Stultz; 13 grandchildren; 19
great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister-in-law, Tillie
Argabright; special loved ones, "a daughter," Patty Hobbs Stapleton; "stepson,"
Tommy Lee Smith; special friend, Coland Boitnott. Funeral services will be held
11 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2004, at Oakey's North Chapel with Rev. Dr. Darryl
G. Crim and Rev. Edward (Bish) Creel officiating. The interment will follow in
Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and
2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Oakey's North Chapel. Flowers are
appreciated, but in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Roanoke
Baptist Church Building Fund. Arrangements by Oakey's North Chapel {362-1237}. |
