Samuel Jospeh Dunman Samuel J. Dunman, 58 of 1706 Moorman Avenue NW, (Roanoke, Virginia) died at 8:30 o’clock yesterday (December 25, 1930) morning in a local hospital, following a brief illness. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Julia Page Dunman, and four sons and four daughters: James W., Latene W., Clarence R. and Ray Dunman, and Mrs J. R. (Bessie) Argenbright, Mrs. H. F. (Lillie) Tatum, Mrs. L J. Minnix, Mrs J. J. (Willie) Field and Ruth Dunman. He is also survived by one brother and three sisters: Luther M. Dunman, Roanoke: Mrs L. J. Minnix, Roanoke; Mrs. W. A. Clark, Clifton Forge; and Mrs Laura Spicer, Benham, NC. Funeral services will be conducted at Melrose Baptist Church at two o’clock Friday Afternoon. Interment will be in Fairview. Active pallbearers will be J. J. Meador, J. H. Poff, A. Mullins, Ray Pate, A. B. Young and C. E. Shipman. Honorary pallbearers will be A. K. Sledd, T. M. Young. R. B. Jones, Clyde Pate, Lewis Haley Field, Harry F. Tatum, John J. Field, Joe Mullins, C. L. Tinsley, J. R. Argenbright, James Bays, Leonard Prilliaman and W. N. Latta.
