Know all men by these presents that I william James on of the state and district for and in Consideration of the sum of twenty eight dollars to me in hand paid by Josiah Trotter of the same state and district I have granted bargained sold and Released and by these present do grant bargin sell and Convey unto the said Josiah Trotter a certain tract or parcel of land containing nine and half acres be the same more or less situated in the state and district afore said adjoining lands of the said Trotter on the Eas and the said Wm. Jameson on the west begining on a old stump in the Picinsville Road thence N 47 E. 9. 95 to a (word)?? thence N 450 W 11.70 to a Rock thence N 60 W 5.68 to Rock at the Road thence alon sd. Road S 17 E 19 to the begining together with all and singular the Right members heredataments and appertainances there unto belonging or in an Wide insadent or appertaining to have and hold all and singular the premises before mentioned unto the said Josiah Trotter his heirs and assigns and I do here by bind my self and each of my heirs Exzecutors and administrators to warrant and for ever defend the said premises unto the said Josiah Trotter his heirs and assigns against myself my heirs and asigns and all other person or persons whoso ever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or ay part thereof given under my hand and seal this 23 day of June in the year of our ord one thousand Eight hundred and forty nine signed sealed and delivered in the presents of us.

b. J. Williams appears personally before me L. Hendricks and acting Magistrate in & for said District & aftr being duly sworn on the holy Evangelist of almighty God sayeth he saw William Jameson sigh seal & deliver the within deed of Conveyance to Josiah Trotter for the use & purpose there in mentioned & that Carroll Jamison was with himself a subscribing witess to the same. Sworn to & subscribed bfore me this the 8th day of August 1850.
