Isham Trotter named in
court, Montgomery, TN.
The court which met in June 1809 took up considerable time in the naming of road overseers and planning new roads. William Cohoon was placed over the road leading from the Robertson County line through Port Royal and to the Kentucky line in the place of William Pennington and Joseph Woolfolk. Isham Trotter was named overseer of the road from the forks of the road leading to Nelson's ferry to the ferry. Isral Robinsons hands, Prestly Pollock, and Georg Pollock were to work under him.
