Clara (Trotter) Simmons 1986

Easley - Mrs. Clara Trotter Simmons, 80, of Rt. 5, Dacusville Community,

died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 1986.

Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Lula Lesley Trotter

She was a homemaker and a member of Griffin Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Furman O. Simmons of the home; sons, Curtis Simmons of

Union, Wayne Simmons of Easley, and Halsimmons of Greenville; daughters, Mrs. Edith

Raines, Mrs. Margaret Holder, Mrs. Lois McRee and Mrs. colene McAlister, all of Easley,

Mrs. Jean cox of Taylors and Mrs. Carol Plumblee of Traverlers Rest; a brother, Prue Trotter

of Pickens; sisters, Mrs. Bessie Watson and Mrs. Mary Simmons, both of Pickens; 25

grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services were 11 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Ribinson Funeral Home by the Rev. James

Ellenburg. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Grandsons served as pallbearers. Robinson funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
