Betty H. Trotter 1998 (wife of William Bertrand Trotter)

Betty H. Trotter, 69, of 3045 Hwy. 11 cleveland, SC, wife of William Bertrand Trotter, died May 1, 1998 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Trotter was born in Sylvia, N.C., daughter of the late John Parker Haskett Sr. and Bertha Nicholson Haskett of Pickens. Mrs. Trotter was retired former owner and opertor of Trotter's Grocery and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her husband of the home, her mother of Pickens; one son, Billy Trotter and his wife, Missy of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Susan Trotter, Holly Trotter and Lindsay Trotter. Two brothers, Furman Haskett and Parker Haskett, both of Pickens; five sisters, Jane Patterson, Jo Anders, Shirley Elrod and Reba Chastain, all of Pickens, Fran Wood of Birmingham, Alabama; four half sisters, Lydia Welch of Charleston, Julia Gilstrap of Pickens, jessie Justice and Bessie Cheek, both of Brevard, N.C. Mrs. Trotter was redeceased by a half sister, Alma Elders and a half brother, Lunie Haskett.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. sunday in the Chapel of dillard Memorial Funeral Home by Reverend Don Waters. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of William Elrod, 2134 Table Roack Rd.
