Ben Hagood Trotter 1998

Ben Hagood Trotter, 70, of 111 Riggins Road, died May 3, 1998 at his residence.

Born in Pickens County, Mr. Trotter was a son of the late Otis and Cumie Leslie Trotter. He retied from the Die Casting Department of Pyobi Motor Products. He was of the Church of God Faith.

Survivors include his wife Beverly Joan Kelley Trotter of the home; two sons, Benny Trotter of Pickens and Stanley Trotter of Easley; eight daughters, Martha McCall, Jere Chappell, Patsy Cannon, Jo Holcombe and Sandy Thomasson, all of Easley, Debra Mann of Liberty, Teresa D. Gilstrap of Pickens and Renee Trotter of Travelers Rest; four stepson, Donald Swanson of Six Mile and Melvin Swanson and Wayne Moss, both of Pickens, Chris Moss of newberry; one sister, Viola Hayes of Pickens; 35 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. today by Rev. Garland Sentell in the chapel of Dillard Memorial Funeral home with interment following at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Grdens.

Active pallbearers will be donnie Trotter, Clifton Trotter, Harvey Trotter, Teddy Trotter, Keith Thomasson and Jimmy Hayes.

The family is at the home at 111 Poper St. Easley, S. C.
