The Family Of

Anders FRED(E)RICKSON and Karen RASMUSSEN

I don’t know if the correct spelling is Fredrickson, Frederickson, or something different.  The spellings seem to be used interchangeably on the different records I’ve seen while researching this family.  Fredericksen, Frederiksen, and Fredricksen are other possible spellings.

Anders (Andrew) Fred(e)rickson and Karen Johanne Rasmussen raised their family in Denmark.  I don’t know if either of them came to the United States.

If you are researching or connected to this family, I would love to hear from you.

Though I took great care in my research, you can be sure to find errors ranging from typos to misinterpretations to inaccurate assumptions.  Please forgive me.

In cases where I wasn’t sure about the accuracy of facts, I tried to make the uncertainty clear in my presentation or else left the data out.

I personally researched and verified most of the data you see on this page.  Some of the sources I used were:  vital records, such as birth, marriage and death records; published newspaper accounts of events, including marriage announcements and obituaries; and census records.  Please contact me for source information applying to specific data.

Thank you Vickie Simon for sharing from your grandmother Mabel’s collection of clippings which gave me the clues I needed to learn about Marie Fred(e)rickson.
