Mr. Treloar was born at Butte, the Montana metropolis and one of the great world centers of the mining industry, and the date of his nativity was August 8, 1905. His father, Richard C. Treloar, was born and reared in England, was a young man when he came to the United States, and as a contractor he eventually became one of the representative business men of Butte, Montana. After completing his studies in the Butte High School Donald C. He was associated three summers with the Butte Chamber of Commerce, and later became manager of the tourists publicity bureau for the Pacific Northwest Scenic Highways Association at the northern entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Thereafter he taught English and history in the public schools at Hobson, Judith Basin County, where he remained until his appointment, May 14, 1928, to his present executive office, that of secretary of the Kalispell Chamber of Commercve.
